Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Portland, OR, by real estate investor and former Ambassador Gordon Sondland, Provenance has evolved into a highly successful owner and operator of boutique hotels.
Since its founding, Provenance has owned and managed over 35 hotels in the United States, including award-winning boutique properties Sentinel in Portland and Hotel Theodore in Seattle.
Today, Provenance operates 14 independent boutique hotels across eight cities, including the soon-to-debut boutique vision in Fort Wayne, IN – The Bradley. Provenance is also an investor in the Paramount Hotel in Seattle and Benson Hotel in Portland, and an approved manager for Starwood and Marriott.
