Art inspires. With each stay, we want you to feel that particular swell of inspiration and intrigue that you feel when you come across an exceptional piece of work. Each of our hotels has a unique, locally influenced art experience intended to jumpstart your own creative energy, from epic novels and pop art murals to expansive photography collections.

At Tacoma’s Hotel Murano, you’ll find a museum-worthy international collection of glass art, including pieces from the world-renowned, locally born glass sculptor, Dale Chihuly. And in New Orleans' Old No. 77 Hotel, find a rotating art gallery curated by local visionary duo, Where Y’Art.

At Provenance, art also takes a musical form, with live performances in Nashville’s Hotel Preston, and boldly curated guestrooms that pay homage to Seattle’s most iconic indie record labels, Sub Pop and Light in the Attic, at Hotel Max and Hotel Theodore, respectively. A Person Cutting A Piece Of Paper

Henri Matisse was spot on: “Creativity takes courage.” Since 2015, we’ve enticed roaming creatives to make bold moves and experience life (and art) in a new city with the launch of the Artist in Residence program at New Orleans’ Old No. 77 Hotel. Since its inception, the New Orleans program has served as our original incubator for emerging artists, supported through deeply integrated partnerships with local artisans.

This year, we’re letting creativity run wild with brand-new Artist in Residency experiences across our collection, like the Designer in Residence program — in partnership with Pensole Design Academy — in Portland. We’ll also be offering opportunities for week-long, short-term residencies in our other hotels, accepted on a rolling basis all year long (based on hotel availability).
